Lost Dog

Luke is a 22 pound rescue dog we are fostering. He escaped out the door at 3:30 pm on Winding Branch Drive Friday afternoon. He is a very quick little guy and also doesn’t like to get close enough to be corralled, particularly without a treat. He is brown with black hair and was wearing a black collar with white icons. His tag has phone numbers for another foster mom in the Dunwoody area.

Please contact Deanna at 678-360-4001 if you see or find him. The last sighting we are aware of was around 5:15 Friday night in the Dunwoody West area.

Thank you.

What have YOU been reading?!~ Let’s create a summer reading list for the Aha! Mamas and Daddies

introvert-book-recommendationsI’ve given you a good resource to find books for your KIDS to read by sharing all the local school summer reading lists.   Then…Cindy H. asked me yesterday “Where is the adult summer reading list?!”

She’s right….where is it???   Let’s create one!

What are you reading now?   What book(s) have you read lately that you couldn’t put down?  Do you have a great suggestion for someone to choose for book club?   Do you know the absolute best “beach read” to share with us?   What’s a great book to read and discuss with your teen for your own family book club?

Please comment on this post….or send me an email if you can’t figure out how to comment.    I’ll compile the list and send it out so that all the Aha! Connections Moms and Dads will have our very own “Summer Reading” list!

5141 Mt. Vernon Way

Five Dunwoody families will spend the afternoon on Saturday, June 8th from 10-2 selling lemonade as they host their fifth annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand to fight childhood cancer.   We have raised over $2,500 over the past several years for childhood cancer. We continue to receive outstanding support from the Dunwoody community. We even had two officers from the Dunwoody Police Department stop by our stand. The funds go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to fight childhood cancers.
