Dunwoody’s final layout of two new baseball fields near PCMS

The Dunwoody City Council was notified that all interested parties (PCMS, Dunwoody Senior Baseball & City Staff) have agreed to the following layout of two baseball fields with artificial turf.  Questions were raised regarding trying to save the tree line along North Peachtree Road as much as possible especially near Barclay as the fences seem very close to the sidewalks.  Staff will be looking at options to save the tree line.

North DeKalb Blaze Track & Field Interest Meetings and Registration

Informational meetings about North DeKalb Blaze Track & Field Club’s 2017 outdoor season are Thursday, March 9, and Thursday, April 13, at 6 p.m. at North DeKalb Stadium on Chamblee-Dunwoody Road. Open to boys and girls ages 5 to 18, Blaze is a well-organized club that competes in AAU and USATF sanctioned events, including the National Junior Olympic Games. Dunwoody Fencing Coach Has Two League Champions

Elaine Wen, representing North Springs High School, and Anthony Martin, representing Roswell High School won the women’s and men’s epee events at the 2017 Georgia High School Fencing League Individual Championship. Coach Kathy Vail is the head fencing coach at North Springs High School and at Roswell High School. She is also the owner of Dunwoody Fencing Club
