Davis Academy Students Take Top Awards at State Tech Fair

Five Davis Academy Lower School students took top awards at the Georgia Educational Technology Fair in Macon on March 11. One Davis Academy student was awarded a First Place medal and four students (3 projects) were awarded Second Place medals.
Twelve Davis Academy students had advanced to the state competition after they earned First Place awards at the regional competition in January at the Fulton Science Academy. The Davis Academy was the top winning school in the Independent and Home Schools category at regionals, earning a total of 25 medals, including the 12 First Place project wins.
Congratulations to the five Davis Academy state Technology Fair winners: Julia Moss (4th grade) – First Place for Internet Applications; Avi Frank (5th grade) – 2nd Place for Device Modification; 5th graders Logan Katz & Aidan Kramer – 2nd Place for Animation; and Sarah Menis (4th grade) – 2nd Place for Robotics.
