Kingsley Charter School was built in 1971.  As a school that was built 45 years ago, it is really in need of some TLC.  Some of the recent additions to Kingsley have been the painting of the entry hallway and a new mural in the cafeteria.  Now, we are looking to refresh a few additional areas in the school.

Three murals have been designed by Andy Wall from the “The Wall Nut” and our resident artist Ms. Agee.
Our plans are to place one in the cafeteria, one will brighten our Kindergarten hallway, and one in the Media Center to engage our students’ imaginations as they explore new worlds through reading.

As many of you know, we have no budget for these refresh projects.  Normally, we would conduct fundraisers to raise funds for these types of projects.  However, we’ve heard from many parents who have stated that they would just rather donate money instead of having to go though the AGONY of a fundraiser.  So, we figured we’d try that.

Instead of fundraising for this special project, we are doing a simple ask.  We are trying to raise approximately $5,500 to paint 3 murals on the walls of the school.  Our plan is to refresh the school in phases.

Please consider donating to make Kingsley’s learning environment warmer and more kid friendly.

Thanks for your consideration…and tell your friends!!
