PCMS Exciting News!

A Future Engineer!
Mr. Thomas Womack, 8th grader at PCMS represented Peachtree Charter Middle School in Orlando, Florida at the TSA National Convention during the week of June 22-25th. He was competing against state champions from around the country.
He won first place in the nation for electrical applications which covers ohms law, how resistors step current down to a usable level. Also, how to read the color bands on resistors.
Mr. Thomas is an outstanding student with a great passion for technology and possesses an indepth understanding of electricity and other engineering concepts.
He was a student in our STEM Academy. His engineering teacher and TSA Sponsor is Mr. Marvin Constant. Mr. Aaron Campbell, Technology teacher and TSA co-sponsor attended this event with Thomas.
