Thanksgiving Food Drive for Emmaus House Sponsored by DHS’s National Honor Society

Emmaus House was founded in 1967 by Father Austin Ford for the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, and the organization has been a consistent presence in the Peoplestown, Turner Field area, neighborhood. Since 1990, St. Bedes Episcopal Church has provided a supplement to Thanksgiving Dinner to families in and around Peoplestown. Families provide documentation of residency and family size and receive a bag of food to help with their Thanksgiving celebration. … Read More »
