ESTHER: IT’S TOUGH BEING A WOMAN, BY BETH MOORE
If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Esther is not a typical book of the Bible in that God’s name is not mentioned. However in this 9 week study, one learns about the nature of God and His activity in human history. Esther relates the dramatic preservation of the Persian Jews in the face of annihilation. Esther, though a queen, lived as an outsider in a hostile environment and has a message for today’s women. Workbooks are $18 with scholarships available upon request. Esther begins January 17th on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in room 258/9 and will be led by Peggy Browne, Delaine Dinsmore andRachel Nevelos. Please contact Rachel Nevelos at rachelnev@aol.com or 678-964-7151 to register for the class and for childcare.
