People started sending me photos on Wednesday morning (5/1).   Then my phone and texts started buzzing.   I had to go check it out.   I couldn’t believe all the tents.  I waited until school was out then took my 5th grader.  We walked over to check it out and took these photos!  He wanted to stay and win and was extremely disappointed when I told him we didn’t have time for a camp out at that moment!   My 8th grader was intrigued so we rode by on our way home from his baseball game at about 9:30 PM.   There was music playing and people on their laptops, boys throwing the football and generally lots of happy conversation taking place among the campers at “Camp Chick-fil-a”.     A friend told me that CFA fed the campers all day long and was there visiting when the employees brought out ice-cream.  Such a fun idea that I could embrace whole-heartedly but just didn’t have time for a camp out this week!   However, as soon as I push send on my Aha! email this morning I’m headed over to get breakfast for my family as a surprise.   CFA biscuits and chicken-minis here I come!

I noticed the sign on the new Chick-fil-A on Jett Ferry says “Chick-fil-A Classics”.  Naturally I was curious, so I called CFA HQ to investigate.  They told me this is a new brand of CFA utilizing more grey colors in the palette and an overall more contemporary design and has nothing to do with the menu or anything else.  Thought you’d like to have to scoop! This promotion is available during the hours 11am-4pm.  The menu selection is a “Pick Two” combination lunch.  The choices are ceasar salad, mixed green salad, market chop salad, pomodorino soup, soup of the day, carmela’s chicken rigatoni, capellini pomodoro, and whole wheat fettucine.  For an additional $1.50 a guest may upgrade to a “Pick Three” combination.
