ABOUT THE ALOHA MENTAL MATH PROGRAM
ALOHA stands for ABACUS Learning of Higher Arithmetic and teaches ‘mental math’ to children between the ages of 5 and 12 by utilizing the Abacus as a framework and teaching tool. The ALOHA program is more than just math enrichment – it helps children utilize and develop both left and right brain capacity which improves focus, concentration, memory and general problem solving. The program consists of a series of levels that meet once per week for 2 hours with roughly 1 hour of homework per week.
