5-year-old raises $820 for Community Assistance Center

A very young Sandy Springs resident is learning what it means to be a philanthropist.

Winston Fejervary, 5, a preschool student, recently raised $820 for food for the less fortunate. With the funds, he purchased two shopping carts full of fresh meat, vegetables and fruit to help alleviate hunger in his community. He donated the food to the Community Assistance Center’s food pantry in Sandy Springs.  Continue at MDJ Online
