by Audra H. Anders for The Aha! Connection
Update: Thanks for the updates from Deerfield (no initiation fee/change to hours) and to Dunwoody North (explanation of planned renovation) I’ve updated the spreadsheet!
The last time I updated our neighborhood pool list was 2018. I just took some time to update for 2020. Most have opened this week for the 2020 summer season but some have not. Some of them have really long waiting lists, some are offering specials and many offer detailed explanations about COVID-19 requirements including scheduling platforms. My pool (Vermack) is requiring you to schedule your time at the pool to help with social distancing.
Almost all of them have increased pricing in the last two years. Some are way more affordable than others, some have chlorine some have saline, some have slides some have baby pools some have tennis courts and swim teams, some don’t. I did the best I could with the information I could find but please know that there may be errors and omissions so I’d suggest you pick the ones you are interested in and delve further into the details. If you are in the market for a summer pool take a look and find the one that works for you and your family!
See the entire Aha! Pool Spreadsheet in Excel format or in Adobe PDF format. Oops. Did I forget your favorite pool or make a mistake or omit some important info? Comment on this post and I’ll make corrections and additions!
