Audra’s Fitness Blog: Deskercise

I sit at my desk a lot.  My neck hates me for it.  My hubby is constantly reminding me to get up and move around to protect my back and neck.  He’s right.  I have no trouble focusing on work so could literally sit in the same position at my desk for hours on end…except for it kills my neck.

When I ran across this article on Deskcercize I saved it to my desk top and have hereby committed to following Marcy’s instructions every day.  I’ll set a timer on my phone to remind me. 

Basically it is 5 exercises that can be performed at your desk to fight the effects of having a sedentary job.  My neck particularly likes the shoulder shrug.  Click here for the original article and to see more details on the below infographic!
