Book of the Week: Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine

I was about to lose an Audible credit and needed to make a quick decision about which book to purchase.  I quickly scanned their top recommendations for me and was intrigued by the title:  Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.   Upon further research, Reese Witherspoon  has already picked up the movie rights for this book and it isn’t even available in paperback yet!

I bought this intending to read after Christmas Day when things hopefully slow down at my house a little.  Well…good intentions turned into being HOOKED and finished well before Christmas.

The narration by extremely quirky Eleanor as she moves through each day is riveting.  You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll applaud the ending that you think you’ve guessed correctly but you haven’t….  This book is perfection.   I listened and read alternatively via Audible and Kindle and simply loved both.  The Audible narration by Cathleen McCarron in her excellent proper and quirky English accent is incredible.

Need to buy a Christmas gift for an avid reader….pick this one up!
