Philanthropy Opportunity with the National Charity League

The Dunwoody Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) held their annual Kick-Off Event at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church on Sunday, August 13, 2017. 244 mothers and daughters gathered together to prepare for the upcoming year using the theme of Dr. Seuss’ “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” Guest speakers included Megan Emery and Christine Culver McDonald, both NCL alumni and Dunwoody High School graduates, who shared how NCL prepared them for success in college and beyond. As part of the celebration the Dunwoody Chapter collected 750 items to be donated to the Community Assistance Center (CAC), one of the many local philanthropies supported by NCL.

NCL is a philanthropic organization comprised of mothers and daughters (7th-12th grade) committed to serving the community while developing leadership and cultural qualities. Each year the Dunwoody Chapter donates over 13,000 hours to the community and hundreds of items to local philanthropies.
