Condesa Coffee Hosts a Special Screening of “The Coffee Man”

TCM-is-Coming-to-America-HIGH-RESFor one night only, Condesa Coffee is hosting a special screening of the acclaimed documentary, The Coffee Man, at its Old Fourth Ward location on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Winner of “Best Australian Documentary” at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, the documentary film follows the Coffee Man, Sasa Sestic, as he explores the extraordinary world of specialty coffee and the lengths one man will go to for coffee nirvana. The journey takes guests from the farm to cup, to the dizzying heights of international competition, where Sasa will win at any cost, even if that requires smuggling Australian milk through US customs to attain the perfect flavor profile. Sasa, a former immigrant from Bosnia, outclassed competitors from almost 52 countries to win the 2015 World Barista Championship (WBC) title in Seattle – the Olympics of coffee. An intimate setting, coffee lovers can enjoy the screening while sipping on coffee, tea, signature cocktails, hand-selected wines and local craft beers. The screening is free with a purchase of a beverage and/or snack. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the screening beginning at 8:15 p.m. For more information, visit Condesa Coffee on Facebook at www.facebook.com/condesacoffee.
