The Dunwoody High School boys Varsity Tennis team has advanced to the Semi Finals in the Georgia State Playoffs (6A Region)!
The DHS boys had a busy week as they won their second round match by traveling to and beating Douglas County, 3-0, on Tuesday 6/23.
The winning lines were:
• Cole Brainard (S1) 6-0, 6-0
• Quinn Wicklund (S3) 6-0, 6-0
• Nathan Ward and Anthony Nelson (D1) 6-0, 6-0
The team continued their winning streak when they traveled to and faced #1 seeded Lakeside-Evans in Augusta in the third round of State Playoffs on Thursday, 6/25.
All five lines won their first set and when the team won 3 matches, the other matches weren’t required. The Wildcats celebrated a win 3-0.

• Cade Lautenbacher (S2) 6-0, 6-0
• Quinn Wicklund (S3) 6-0, 6-0
• Preston Files and Mark Romano (D2) 6-0, 6-0
• Cole Brainard (S1) 6-1
• Nathan Ward and Anthony Nelson (D1) 6-0
Dunwoody will play Northview HS at Northview on Tuesday, April 30th at 3pm for the Semi Finals. Let’s go CATS!!!
