“DUNWOODY MARKET TRAIL” ADDS TWO DELICIOUS NEW STOPS

Georgia Destination Refreshes Popular Experience for 2021, Shining Spotlight on Charming Restaurants, Including Recently Reopened Dunwoody Farmer’s Market

Dunwoody, Ga. – (March 9, 2021) – The destination marketing team in Dunwoody, Georgia today announced the expansion of the popular “Dunwoody Market Trail,” with the addition of Breadwinner Café and Bakery and Créma Espresso Gourmet.   Adding to the tastefully fun experiences that abound in Dunwoody, these two spots join an extensive roster of deliciously unexpected locations along the trail, including Alon’s Bakery & Market; Zukerino; E. 48th Street Market; Nell’s Produce Market; Café Intermezzo; and the Dunwoody Farmer’s Market, which recently opened for its 2021 season.

“Many of the restaurants that make up our Dunwoody Market Trail are staples of the community, faithfully and tastefully serving Dunwoody and the surrounding areas while finding ways to adapt to the ever-changing world we’re living in,” said Kimberly Franz, Marketing Director for Discover Dunwoody. “Spring ushers in patio and picnic season, and what better timing for outdoor dining?  We’re excited to encourage locals and visitors alike to make stops along our trail to pick up lunch or dine-in for a delectable experience.”

One of the newest stops joining the Dunwoody Market Trail, which opened July 2020 in the Dunwoody Village, is Breadwinner Café & Bakery, which has been featured as one of Oprah’s “Favorite Things” and offers fresh-baked favorites, soups, salads, and sandwiches. From its famous Breadwinner sweet bread to delicious daily chef-curated specials, the bakery makes everything from scratch in-house daily and offers mouthwatering dishes for dine-in or carry out. Additionally, visitors can enjoy open-air seating with patio tables and a creatively painted picnic table, courtesy of the City of Dunwoody’s Painted Picnic Table Project.

Tucked away at the corner of Mt. Vernon Rd. and Jett Ferry Rd, Créma Espresso Gourmet also offers a variety of patio and outdoor seating, with six picnic tables beautifully painted by organizations including Spruill Center for the Arts, Dunwoody Women’s Club and Stage Door Players. A local favorite owned by the Inbal family and created out of a passion for espresso and gourmet cuisine, Créma Espresso Gourmet is a European-style coffee shop serving French pastries, quiches, sandwiches, salads, quality coffee and desserts. Popular dishes include Quiche Lorraine, Matzo Ball Soup and the Signature Chicken Salad Sandwich.

An original favorite of the Dunwoody Market Trail, the Dunwoody Farmer’s Market recently opened -earlier than ever before – for its 2021 season.  Each Saturday now through December, this vibrant spot sells fresh seasonal produce, free-range meats and more at the newly renovated Brook Run Park. Visitors can safely sip organic coffee and grocery shop while enjoying live music and watching their kids play nearby. New-for-2021 vendors include Watsonia Farms, featuring organic peaches and strawberries and Java Genesis, with organic, locally brewed coffee served fresh with a packaged to-go option.

Discover Dunwoody, the destination’s marketing organization, created the Dunwoody Market Trail in 2020 to spotlight the charming and unforgettable restaurants that contribute to the community located just 10 miles north of Atlanta.
