Dunwoody, GA – July 11, 2019 – The City of Dunwoody has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the current budget from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). It is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting.

“Only 37 governments in the state of Georgia received this budget award last year, and that includes state agencies, county and city governments,” said Dunwoody Accounting Manager Aleksandar Dimov. Georgia has 159 counties and almost 600 cities that can apply for the award.

Dunwoody has earned this recognition every year since incorporation. This is the city’s 10th Distinguished Budget Presentation Award.
