At Dunwoody School for the Arts, we are devoted to discovering and developing our students’ artistic gifts in a Christian environment, so they may thrive in music artistry, bring glory to God and develop a lifetime love of music and dance.
We offer private instruction for ALL AGES in Voice, Piano, Guitar, Percussion, Trumpet, Clarinet and other Woodwinds. In addition, adults may sign up for our Recreational Music Making Group Piano classes, which allows you to learn to play piano with a friend!
For elementary and middle schoolers interested in dance, we offer beginner to advanced Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip-hop taught by instructors who are passionate about teaching technique as well as making the dance experience fun!
New for 2019, DSA is hosting an 8 week Music Theory 101 class, no musical education or experience required! This class is perfect for those who want to make a greater contribution to their choir, worship team, chorus, orchestra or band. Music listeners and performers alike will gain a better understanding of the language of music in these interactive, hands-on sessions taught by drummer, author, educator, and first-call Atlanta musician, Phil Smith.
