Misty Creek Community Church and First Baptist Church of Sand Springs will host a 9/11 remembrance service on Friday, September 11 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs. We will begin with a free cookout dinner for first responders at 6 PM outside. The service will begin at 7 PM in the sanctuary. Former Dunwoody Mayor Denis Shortel and Sandy Springs Councilman John Paulson will be sharing a message of honor and remembering the events of 9/11. The service will feature special music selections. We will practice social distancing and ask that mask be worn. Please join us as we remember and honor the brave heroes who lost their lives in the attacks against America on September 11, 2001.
