Roswell Dance Theatre, and Atlanta Dance Theatre, proudly announce the exciting spring productions of Anastasia and Peter Pan. For one ticket, patrons will enjoy a one-hour production of Peter Pan, intermission and a one hour production of Anastasia.
Roswell Dance Theatre presents the incredible journey of Anastasia as she travels across the globe to find her family and herself. From the faraway corners of Russia, to the bustling streets of Paris, treasured memories come to life with engaging dances and vivid stories of long ago encounters. The royal family may appear to have been lost, but a very special music box helps the princess find her way back home with a heart full of love. This journey will entertain guests of all ages through incredible music, aristocratic glamour and the magic of memories.
Atlanta Dance Theatre takes you on “an awfully big adventure”! In this high flying Peter Pan adventure, the Darling children meet Tinkerbell and Peter Pan who fly into their nursery and sweep them away to Neverland! Tiger Lily, the Lost Boys and Captain Hook all await them for many adventures. So much color, so much action comes to life in the form of dance. Believe, believe in the magic! Who doesn’t love the magic of pirates and pixie dust?!Both award winning dance companies are nonprofit 501c3 corporations.
Roswell Dance Theatre was founded in 1985 by Nancy Tolbert Yilmaz and Mary Lynn Taylor. It is the resident performing company of the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance. Atlanta Dance Theatre under the direction of Shelley Games, was founded in 1981 and is the resident dance company of the Dancer’s Studio Backstage.Spring audiences will enjoy the production of two high energy shows by these two dance companies for one ticket.
