Barbeque: It’s America in a mouthful. The story of barbeque touches almost every aspect of our history. It encompasses every region and demographic group. It is entwined with our politics and tangled up with our race relations.
Join us Saturday, March 20th from 9:30-11am when DPT hosts our next History Alive program. Journalist Jim Auchmutey will present A Short History of Barbeque in America. History Alive will be held outdoors under the tent at the Donaldson-Bannister Farm for social distancing. $5 DPT Members / $10 non-DPT Members. No reservations required.
