Description

Join the Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber, in collaboration with the UGA SBDC in DeKalb, for the fourth workshop in our SBDC educational series, on August 7 at 10 am at SharedSpace Dunwoody.

Influencer marketing is one of the fastest-growing marketing tactics to acquire and retain customers. It’s one of the best methods to get the word out about your business. Is influencer marketing a fad? How can I work with Influencers when I have a small budget? During this session, Atlanta Influencer, lifestyle blogger, and influencer marketing expert, Jewel Hazelton will answer all of your influencer marketing questions about how you start working with collaborating with influencers for your small business.

A native Georgia peach, Jewel returned to the Atlanta area to work in the public relations industry over 10 years ago. She has a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Alabama. She is an expert on the best places to Eat, Drink, and Shop. For several years, her friends and family have always come to her for advice on things to do and places to see. The overwhelming response sparked the birth of her lifestyle blog in 2010. She recently rebranded her blog after almost a decade by changing the name to After Sunday Dinner.

Through her blog, Jewel has collaborated with several top tier Fortune 500 lifestyle and luxury brands like Free People, Kate Spade New York, Home Depot, Birchbox, Freeform, Tobi, American Eagle, AERIE, Progresso Soups, Smirnoff, Toyota, Teavana, Starbucks, and Target. Her work has been featured in top tier media outlets such as Better Homes and Gardens, Groupon.com, Shape, Women’s Health, PopSugar, Jezebel, Australian home magazine: Inside Out, Eater, CBS Morning Show, and CNBC. She also served as a brand ambassador for Women’s Health, Good Housekeeping, Mind Body Fitness, Siggis Yogurt, and Glamour Magazine. Jewel was also recently named to the 2019 PRSA Georgia inaugural “40 under 40” list.

This event is produced in partnership between the DeKalb SBDC and Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber.
