A Benefit for the Atlanta Community Food Bank

Bobbiesoxers and boyfriends, high school hijinks, teen angst and adult supervision make up the fun night of Old-Time Radio show recreations celebrating our 16th Birthday!  The Atlanta Union Radio Players present “Sweet 16!”  This year’s annual fundraiser for the Atlanta Community Food Bank has OTR programs highlighting family favorites dealing with those often awkward and difficult adolescent years. First up, the 1948 pilot episode of “Father Knows Best”, then mark your calendars for “A Date with Judy” and see if Aunt Judy will get her man!  Next up, “The Unexpected”, with a story aptly titled Sweet 16 – but with a twist!  And the evening ends with “The Aldrich Family”, the archetypical juvenile program that spawned many others.

Doors open at 6:15PM, Authentic English fare and drinks will be available separately.  Tickets are $25 and early purchase is recommended (please note there will be a $2.75 service fee per ticket added to the online sales – a small price to pay to be able to purchase your ticket at 3:00 in the morning in your pajamas).
