Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber Hosts Political Hobnob for Local Election

 

The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber will host the Meet the Candidates Political Hobnob on Thursday, October 3, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter.
 
The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to hear from several candidates — who are up for election on November 5, 2019 — about why they will serve as the best candidate for office. Candidates who have confirmed attendance include:

 

  • Councilwoman Lynn Deutsch – Running for Mayor
  • Councilman Terry Nall – Running for Mayor
  • Stacey Harris – Running for Council Post 4
  • Heyward Wescott – Running for Council Post 5
  • Joe Seconder – Running for Council Post 5

 

The following candidates who are unable to attend but have surrogate representatives confirmed to attend:

  • Robert Miller – Running for Council Post 4
    • ​Rep: Meri Miller, Wife & Supporter of Robert Miller

 

The following candidates have been invited but not yet confirmed:

  • John Heneghan – Running for Council Post 6

 
The event not only serves as an opportunity for attendees to hear from & mingle with the candidates, but it also provides candidates a platform to present their positions on key issues to their current and prospective constituents.

Advance registration for this event is required, due to the anticipated heavy turnout; the cost of registration for members and prospective members is $10.00. Advance registration will end on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at 12 p.m. Registration includes appetizers and one drink ticket (beer or wine) per attendee; there will be a cash bar available. After registration ends, walk-in admission will be permitted at the cost of $15.00. No refunds will be given for cancellations or no-shows.
