Leader:  Kevin O’Toole      Cell contact morning of walk:  404-451-3092

Birding Focus:  Four main habitats (lake, creek/wetlands, mixed woods, and ball fields) provide good species diversity.  We will look for Spring migrant and resident birds.  This walk is suitable for adults and children over 10 years of age.  Please do not bring your dog.  This site can be especially good for beginning birders.  The path can be muddy and slippery in places, so wear appropriate footwear.  Restrooms are available near the parking lot.
Directions and parking: From I-285 on the north side of Atlanta, take Exit 29. Go south on Ashford Dunwoody Rd. about 0.95 mile, then turn left onto W. Nancy Creek Dr. NE.  Drive to parking lot at the intersection of Nancy Creek Dr. NE and Candler Lake West NE.

This walk is co-sponsored by the Murphey Candler Park Conservancy.
