An Emotionally Intelligent Way to Reduce Anxiety, Sadness, and Mental Illness in Students, featuring parent speaker Emily Shupert, PhD, LPC, MABC and youth speaker Matt Frease, ThM, ThD Candidate. Sunday, March 10, 5-7 pm in the Great Hall at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church. Dinner provided and all are welcome.

Dr. Emily Shupert is a licensed professional counselor and founder of a counseling and coaching company in Atlanta, Simplify Life Counseling and Coaching (www.simplifyatlanta.com). Whether it’s counseling, consulting or speaking, her goal is to help individuals and families experience greater freedom from anxiety, depression, and many other mental health issues so they can thrive and become the people God made them to be.

Matt Frease is an ordained minister with experience and training as a pediatric hospital chaplain and as a pastoral psychotherapist. He works with teens (14 years & older), young adults, LGBTQ+, clergy, seminarians, individuals, couples and families as they face issues of loss, transition, spiritual concerns and other significant life issues. He specializes in: Vocational Discernment and Ministry concerns, Caregivers, Adolescents (14 years and older), Young Adults, and Couples.
