Our annual fundraiser, Artistic Affair, is a little over 3 weeks away! We are so excited about our all virtual event and hope you will tune in on March 20 from 7:00-8:00pm.
We will kick off the event with a welcome message from our CEO, Alan Mothner, then test his bartending skills as he creates a signature cocktail and toasts the evening (recipe for the cocktail will be sent to everyone who registers).
Our silent auction is shaping up to be one of our best yet! We have incredible paintings, magnificent glass art, beautiful ceramics and stunning handcrafted jewelry. We also have some amazing experiences including a private curated tour of our current gallery exhibit, Pomp and Circumstance, presented by Northside Hospital, followed by dinner at the gallery with a meal from Novo Cucina. Spruill instructor, Lauren Adams, will be doing a live painting during the event and it will be auctioned off at the end of the evening.
We have 4 incredible raffles this year and the tickets for each are only $20. Choose from a California wine basket or Italian wine basket hand-selected from Vino Venue, a $1,000 shopping spree to Lauderhills Fine Jewelry, or a chance to win a free class for two at Spruill. At 7:45pm we’ll begin our paddle raise to raise money for our youth art programs.. Thanks in part to generous contributions from the Belle and Louise Cofer Fund and the Tomlinson Memorial Foundation we’ve been able to offer free art classes for all youth and teens for winter and spring quarter. Our hope is raise enough money to continue offering these free classes though the end of 2021.
The evening will close with live music from up and coming Athens band Common Currents.
