Gatherings of 10 or more are prohibited in Dunwoody (begins 3/28)

During a virtual meeting held on March 26, the Dunwoody City Council took additional emergency measures to slow the spread of COVID-19. Beginning Saturday March 28, all public or private gatherings of 10 people or more are prohibited within the city limits.This includes weddings, religious gatherings, parties, funerals, sporting events, social events and conferences. Exceptions include critical government facilities providing essential services, schools or institutions of higher learning, grocery stores, retail stores in excess of 15,000 square feet, construction sites, pharmacies. hospitals and medial offices, nursing homes, and similar facilities. This does not prevent the gathering of members of living unit. These emergency measures will stay in effect for 30 days but can be lifted before that or extended if the COVID-19 threat remains.
