Go take a hike!

Let’s talk about the best part of fall. It’s not “pumpkin spice” or haunted houses. It’s not scarecrows or bulky sweaters….it’s hiking!

There is nothing better than hiking in fall. The leaves are right, the weather is right. It’s perfect.

My “must-do” fall hikes in (and beyond) Georgia?

Brasstown Bald is the highest point in Georgia, so the leaves turn colors here first. Make sure you go on a clear day.

Ravencliff Falls get a bad wrap as being too difficult for most hikers…but in truth, only the last 1/4 mile is the hard part…and the hike is worth every second without that small section.

Anna Ruby Falls near Helen is a short and easy hike.

Cataract Falls Trail in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It’s a short hike with a great waterfall.
