Lunch & DINNER with Lauren – Roswell Restaurant Week

by Lauren Townsend for The Aha! Connection

Roswell Restaurant Week starts January 24 and lasts until February 2 and has close to 50 great restaurants participating including many of it’s heavy hitters on Canton street. Many are offering both lunch and dinner while some are only offering dinner, so check the website (http://www.roswellrw.com) before making any decisions.

While lunch is obviously my thing, I’m most excited about the dinner menus. Table and Main, one of my favorites, is offering all their most popular menu items and I’m pumped. A first course choice of Charleston She-Crab soup or meatloaf meatballs; Second course choices between shrimp and grits, their award-winning fried chicken or the Brasstown burger; And if that isn’t enough, a dessert choice of ice cream flight or banana puddin’.

You should also check out Big Ketch’s dinner menu. First course, tuna poke chips, 30-A smoked fish dip or crispy calamari; Second course, hot buttered lobster roll on brioche, seared Yellowfin, grilled sea scallops or blackened salmon; Third course, hot fudge cake.

Or, if you just want to keep the decisions to a minimum, head to another favorite, Lucky’s Burger and Brew, for first course, fried pickles and second course, their Georgia Dawg Pounder burger, topped with a FRIED PIMENTO CHEESE BALL and spicy red pepper jelly.

Really, so many restaurants with so many options and from my computer, they all look good. I would definitely recommend carving out some time to head to Roswell at least once this coming week. Take lots of pictures and let us know what you chose!
