The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) invites the Atlanta community to its Beat the Heat Fitness Challenge, a week of wellness-related activities and fun fitness challenges, July 16-22, 2018 at its Zaban Park campus (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody). Participants in the MJCCA’s fun week of team fitness goals will earn points and prizes, and have a cool time competing and shaping up,” said Jacobson. “This friendly, competitive team challenge promotes activities that will improve health, mood, balance, and teamwork.”
Beat The Heat Fitness Challenge Highlights, July 16 – 22:
Free and open to the community and MJCCA members;
Registration is required at atlantajcc.org/beattheheat;
Participants will be assigned a team captain who will contact them within 24 hours of registration;
Men and women are encouraged to complete activities listed on an activity card that they will receive from their team captain;
Any combination of activities from the activity card will count toward each person’s daily point totals;
Participants will post daily activities on MJCCA’s Facebook Event page, and the activities will count toward individual or team scores;
A winner is selected daily. Prizes include gift certificates, massages, blenders, tumblers, and more.
