New CAC Dunwoody Office is Open! Public Event Feb. 28

The Community Assistance Center (CAC) has opened a new branch office in Dunwoody! The office opened for services in January. The public is invited to a grand opening event on Friday, February 28 at 9 a.m. with Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch.

The office offers access to families who live in that area, particularly those with no car, to CAC services. CAC expects to serve about 400 families a year at the new office. Currently CAC serves 6,500 individuals a year from 3,000 households. CAC’s Dunwoody office is located at 5 Dunwoody Park South, Building 5, Suite 113, Dunwoody GA 30338.

CAC brings together the Sandy Springs and Dunwoody communities to provide compassionate assistance to neighbors in need by providing financial support, helping to meet basic needs and promoting self-reliance. CAC works to prevent homelessness and hunger locally with the support of 28 congregations of all faiths, public and private grants, civic organizations, schools, businesses and individuals. Supporters provide financial resources, in-kind donations and volunteer manpower.
