PALS Winter 2020 Program

PALS (Perimeter Adult Learning Services) is pleased to present its Winter 2020 session for 8 weeks on Mondays beginning January 6, 2020 and running through March 2, 2020 (no class on January 20) at Dunwoody United Methodist Church, 1548 Mt. Vernon Rd. Dunwoody, GA 30338. Classes include Faith Traditions Around the World Part 2; the second Interesting Topics series which will include the History of American Flags, how to deal with medical emergencies, the History of Atlanta, Aging in Place Part 2 and an overview of U. S. Special Forces, among others; Behavioral Economics Part 2; an 8 week program on health and wellness presented by Physicians from Northside Hospital; a review of the presidencies of Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman and in the afternoon the annual Great Decisions program. As always, there will be Bridge and Mah Jongg. Classes are held from 10:00 -11:00 am, 11:15 am – 12:15 pm and 1:15 – 2:15 pm and the cost is $50 for the 8 weeks. Lunch, which runs from 12:15 – 1:15 pm, can be purchased in advance for $8 or can be brought from home.
