Peace Poster Art Contest for ages 11-13

Calling all young artists ages 11-13!

For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

The Atlanta Lions Club is sponsoring the Peace Poster contest this year. The local Atlanta winner will receive $100 award and the artist’s poster will be submitted to the district level contest and may be selected for the international level. The international grand winner receives $5000 and a trip with parents to the awards ceremony. In past years, the ceremony has been held at the United Nations.

This year’s theme is “Peace Through Service” .

The contest is open to all Atlanta metro area students, including homeschoolers, who will be age 11, 12 or 13 as of Nov 15, 2020. Deadline for poster entry is Nov 1.
