Perimeter Chamber Advocates for Business

Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber becomes
Perimeter Partnership & Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber is now the Perimeter Partnership & Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (Perimeter Chamber) a 501c(6) organization advocating for all businesses in the greater Perimeter region.

As the Perimeter region expands, so does the need for an inclusive business organization to serve and advocate for its demands. The Perimeter Chamber is ready to take on this challenge and move the entire region forward as they stand by their mission of ‘advancing economic prosperity.’

“The time is right for the Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber to evolve into the Perimeter Chamber as we roll out our business plan and strategic goals for 2023 and beyond. The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber has served our members well and will continue to do so but as our membership base grows and diversifies, we must be the leading voice for advocacy that matters for the great Perimeter area,” said Chair of the Board Adam Hill, General Manager of AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter.

The Perimeter region is comprised of a dynamic and diverse business landscape; therefore, the Perimeter Chamber will be as dynamic and diverse as the region it serves. Broadening of the service area will allow for additional accessibility and connections for all; allowing for more action-based conversations that reinforces a healthy business climate.

“As the Perimeter Chamber we will focus on strategic initiatives that affect the future of Georgia’s economy. We come to the table with trusted foresight and leadership to positively affect the trajectory of all businesses.” said President & CEO, Stephanie Freeman, IOM, GCCE.

While the service area expands, advancing economic prosperity will continue to be the organization’s driving force; continuing to serve their current members and providing more access to greater networks along with additional benefits. As the region’s only not-for-profit private sector Perimeter focused organization they will connect businesses to the people and resources that matter most while focusing on the issues
most critical to business and to Georgia’s overall competitiveness. The establishment of the Perimeter Chamber provides new opportunities for businesses to engage specifically around issues and opportunities that impact the future business climate in the State of Georgia as it pertains to talent, infrastructure, and diversity.

“We will continue to be a nonprofit membership organization whose members are local and regional organizations invested in developing their organizations and people, growing the economy, and strengthening the region,” stated Brent Morris, Immediate Past Chair and Vice President, Specialty Consulting Practice at CBIZ. “We work with members to invest in a broad range of initiatives that support the Perimeter region as the best place to live, work, play and do business.”

The Chamber recently launched a newly formed Chairman’s Circle. Organizations looking to increase their exposure to the Perimeter business community and build connections with leading business executives are invited to join. Members of this elite group are recognized as leaders who are making vital commitments to the continued growth and prosperity of the region through their sustaining investment in the Perimeter Chamber. Members receive enhanced exposure in the region and a prominent seat at the table as we work to solve some of businesses greatest challenges. Ms. Shiver states, “I am excited to step into this new role with the Perimeter Chamber as we embark on this new chapter of expansion.
