Dunwoody Community Garden and Dunwoody Fine Arts Association will hold a joint Plant and Art Sale
The Dunwoody Community Garden and Orchard (DCGO) and the Dunwoody Fine Art Association (DFAA) will be selling plants and exhibiting Art from local artists at Brook Run Park at 4770 North Peachtree Road in Dunwoody, GA 30338 from Monday, April 20 thru the 26th at the Greenhouse complex, which is across from the skateboard facility. The hours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00PM. The public is invited and there is no fee.
The Dunwoody Community Garden and Orchard (DCGO)
DCGO is a non-profit organization and offers organically grown plants from its own greenhouses for sale to support the cost of operation for the greenhouses and the main garden. Over 20% of the garden is devoted to growing food for charitable organizations.
This year we are offering a very large and varied selection of hard to find organically grown heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, vegetables as well as annual flowers and perennials. Prices will range from $1 and up; only cash will be accepted.
Dunwoody Fine Art Association (DFAA)
DFAA, also a not-for-profit organization, will be displaying paintings by local, award winning artists who have sold in galleries, juried shows, and events in and out of town. The artists are looking forward to having the opportunity to sell and have the public some see their creativity in the Barn area during April 24 (Fri.) thru April 26 (Sunday). This year we are excited to present our art with a price no higher than $75. It is amazing to see what can be created within a limitation. Creativity is priceless and fun. Please come enjoy our creative juices and let yours come to life! While viewing the artwork, please vote for your favorite creation. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to a Dunwoody Elementary school art department.
