Prep Food Junction – Literally A Hidden Gem

I was having a day that required tacos and rallied some adventurous friends to try out Let’s Taco Bout It. I dropped the address in Waze and went on my way, past that weird abandoned cylinder building at spaghetti junction, and ended on the frontage road of 85 facing the Big Green Egg building. I pulled up into what can only be described as a food hall in the form of an office park known as Prep Food Junction. As my friend and I waited for our third, we walked around adventuring both intrigued and perplexed. Food Junction is several tiny restaurants with dine-in tables and a common dining area with tables for larger parties. Here is a list of the restaurants:

Raul’s Latin Cafe & Catering: And it looks like empanadas that I need to try.
Wednesday – Saturday: 11am – 8pm

Hot Chickpeas: authentic Mediterranean dining experience. Um, bestill my heart, lamb and beef shawarma.

Java Saga – Which is apparently home to the #1 Taiwan fried chicken sandwich, and honestly, after looking at the menu, I’m planning on a trip asap.
Tuesday-Saturay: 11am – 7pm, Sunday: 12pm – 7pm

Let’s Taco Bout It Authentic and fusion tacos
Tuesday – Sunday: 11am-7pm

Meatballerz: Sandwiches, pizza and you guessed it, hand-formed meatballs. Meatballs are my youngest’s favorite food on earth, so we’ll definitely have to come back here.
Tuesday – Saturday: 11am-9pm

Southern Kitchen & Grill: Southern comfort food looks GUUUUUD. Think chicken wings, chicken and waffles, ribs and pulled pork. And if memory serves me right, I seem to remember A LOT of desserts.
Wednesday – Sunday: 11am-9p

Little Farmhouse Cafe: Deemed “a hidden gem” by Fox5. I can see why. We watched delicious dish after delicious dish gets brought out around us with pitchers of mimosas. I’m not a brunch person, but I think I’ll make an exception.
Wednesday – Friday: 9am – 3pm
Saturday, Sunday: 10am – 3pm

Nonna’s Italian Family Kitchen: Which is apparently 4 generations of Italian cuisine with pizzas, pasta, soups and salads and frozen versions to take home and make. I’m thinking definitely great for an easy dinner or meal train.
Monday-Saturday: Noon-6pm

Fazoli’s: You read that right. It was busy.
