Lemonade anyone? Dunwoody High School students from the Academy of Finance will be working in teams of four to set up Lemonade stands across Dunwoody through the weekend. Using marketing and business skills they learn in the finance program, students will compete for sales by staking out locations and creating the best product mix. The proceeds from their sales go toward the program’s annual field trips and prizes for the team winners. A portion will also support the Dunwoody Preservation Trust and upcoming Lemonade Days. Look for some students also using the lemonade stand as a means for promoting their own individual businesses that are part of the program.
Lemonade stands will be located near the Dunwoody Village Ace Hardware, Publix, Walgreens, E. 48th Street Market, Harbor Freight Tools and more.
