RPM 911 5K – Join us this Sunday at Chastain Park for a day of patriotic remembrance

Join us for a run or walk on Sunday, September 9th and celebrate our Veterans, Ryan Means and remember the Lives lost on 9/11.

Our mission for this 5k is to benefit the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative and to provide a day of patriotic remembrance for those most affected by the events of 9/11/2001.

The race supports the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative which is a comprehensive rehabilitation program that focuses on assessment and treatment for service men and women who have sustained a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury and PTSD from the Afghanistan and Iraqi conflicts. DATE: Sunday, September 9, 2018

TIME: Activities start at 1pm and the 5k starts at 2pm

LOCATION: Ryan Means American Legion Hall

EVENT SUMMARY: Join us for the 8th Annual RPM 911 Race (5k) around Chastain Park. This will be a day to salute our veterans and soldiers, honor the lives of those lost on September 11, 2001 and celebrate the freedom we enjoy as Americans.

ACTIVITIES/FOOD: There will be fun activities for kids and adults and our veterans will be serving FREE BBQ, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, and Cold Beverages.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Registration begins at 12:30pm for those not already registered on EventBrite.

PRE-REGISTRED # PICK UP: Begins at 12:30pm on the day of the race. Numbers may also be picked up at Road Runners, 3756 Roswell Road, on Saturday September 8th from 10am – 4pm.
