School’s and City Offices Delaying Start for December 11

DeKalb Schools:

Out of an abundance of caution, DCSD will open on a two-hour delay for all students and staff on Dec. 11, 2018 due to potential inclement weather and black ice.

Fulton Schools:  

Fulton County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, “out of an abundance of caution” because of weather reports

“…(A)ll schools and central offices within the Fulton County School System will open on a two-hour delay tomorrow, December 11, in alignment with Governor Deal’s announcement that state offices will open late. The National Weather Service has warned that several metro Atlanta counties may have black ice on roads as temperatures drop below freezing early morning,”

City of Dunwoody:

Due to the possibility of black ice tomorrow morning, the City of Dunwoody will delay opening for non-essential personnel until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Please drive safely.
