Solicitation in Neighborhoods (Dunwoody)

The Humane Society of the United States, along with Threshold Giving (both non-profit organizations), have contacted the city to let us know they will be fundraising in Dunwoody neighborhoods beginning this afternoon. They will continue door-to-door fundraising on various dates over the next 4 months.

Fundraising operations will normally begin around 2pm and end at approximately 8pm. All employees will have an ID badge with a photo, along with a letter from each employer. Each canvasser has passed a background check as well as a drug screen for employment.

Both agencies are non-profit agencies and their employees are NOT required to possess a solicitation permit issued by the City of Dunwoody.

If you have any issues or questions, please feel free to contact their fundraising contacts listed on the letter in the employee’s possession. (MS)

Respectfully,

Mark Stevens
