Grubb Properties Unveils Plans to Develop 19-Acre Mixed-Use Project in Metro Atlanta

DUNWOODY, GA. — Grubb Properties is moving forward with Park at Perimeter Center East, a 19-acre mixed-use project in Dunwoody, roughly 17 miles north of Atlanta. The Charlotte-based company has submitted a rezoning request to the Dunwoody City Council to rezone the site from “Office Industrial” to include residential and retail. No tax break for Dunwoody State Farm tower

 

Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there — but your tax money isn’t.

The nation’s largest property insurance company backed off its pursuit of $15 million in tax incentives to build a Dunwoody office tower that’s almost completely constructed, said spokesman Justin Tomczak in a statement Monday.

State Farm withdrew its request for a property tax break amid questions from Dunwoody’s economic development board about its necessity, since the company had already committed to consolidate offices on the 17-acre campus near Perimeter Mall.… Read More »

Dunwoody cops rescue sex-trafficking victim, bust alleged pimps

The Dunwoody Police Department recently held an undercover operation at a local hotel, resulting in 15 arrests and the rescue of a sex-trafficking victim, the agency announced this week.

Paving on Chamblee Dunwoody Road began on Wednesday, August 17th from Roberts Drive to Womack Road. Paving will continue from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday for the next two weeks, weather permitting. Please use alternate routes and use caution while in the Dunwoody Village area.

Chamblee-Dunwoody Road Paving- Traffic Will Be Impacted!

Dunwoody now paving Chamblee-Dunwoody Road

Paving began on Chamblee-Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody on Thursday, August 18th and will continue for the next two weeks, weather permitting. The paving will take place between Roberts Drive and Womack Road between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists are urged to use caution.
