Dunwoody PD is another step closer to having a K-9 unit

The Dunwoody Police Foundation announces the receipt of a donation of $11,500 from the Rotary Club of Dunwoody. The gift, comprised of funds from the Dunwoody Rotary Charitable Fund and individual donations from Rotarians, was made as a restricted gift to the Dunwoody Police Foundation through its Founders’ Campaign 2020. Lockdown at Dunwoody Schools

This afternoon just before noon, officers responded to Peachford Hospital in reference to a patient that walked away from the hospital without being properly discharged. The patient was admitted to the hospital several days ago after making threats to “shoot up” schools. Self-Storage Burglary in Dunwoody

From the Dunwoody Police:

On July 9, 2019 between 6:30PM and 7:45PM, two suspects forcefully entered approximately 20 interior storage units from the Public Storage facility located at 4340 Dunwoody Park South in Dunwoody and removed several items. Thanks to our detectives, a suspect was quickly identified and warrants were obtained for his arrest.

Entering Autos at Swim and Tennis Clubs

Two vehicles were broken into yesterday at a Swim & Tennis Club in Dunwoody. Bags containing personal property and personal information as well as electronics were stolen from both vehicles.
