Paint Recycling Event

On April 21, the Dunwoody Nature Center and the city’s Earth Day Paint Recycling Event takes place Sfrom 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For a fee of $1 per gallon, residents can drop off any unwanted paint at the Nature Center, 5343 Roberts Drive, to help promote healthier air and water quality.

DeKalb Recycling Exchange Event 4/21 in Brookhaven

The DeKalb County Sanitation Division will host a series of recycling roll cart exchange events throughout the county.  

Starting next month, subscribers will have the opportunity to complete the exchange process by trading in their 18-gallon recycling bin for a complimentary 35-gallon recycling roll cart, or upgrading to a 65-gallon recycling cart for a one-time $15 prepaid fee.… Read More »

Girl Scout Troop 10571 will be collecting electronics to be recycled as part of a Earth Day Community Service Event. Electronics can be dropped off outside the garage of: 1840 Trumbull Dr. between now and April 20th. DeKalb Holiday Recycle Schedule

There will be no collection service on Tuesday, Jan. 1. Collection services for Tuesday, Jan. 1 will be moved to Wednesday, Jan. 2 with the regular garbage collection schedule resuming on Thursday, Jan. 3. Yard waste and blue box recycling will be delayed one day through Friday, Jan. 4.
