Foodie Patty has had too busy of a schedule this week to let you know about our awesome Wing Factory lunch so I’m going to take a moment and let you know about it! We headed over to their new Dunwoody location (near Dunwoody Tavern) last Friday for a late lunch and sat outside in the beautiful fall weather on their quiet lovely patio. We ran into several friends while there and they kept raving about the delicious Wing Factory food, atmosphere and friendly staff. We were not disappointed in any of the above! We enjoyed the patio but took note that there are ample TVs for sports viewing and the interior re-design from the former Alison’s Restaurant decor is fantastic!We pretty much let our waitress suggest what to order and we had the following:
- Grilled blackened shrimp in Bayou sauce (our fave item)
- Potato skins (gobbled up before I remembered to take a picture)
- Traditional wings (hot and garlic Parmesan)
- Boneless wings (Hot Bayou & Hot Garlic – I think!)
- Unsweetened Tea (Very refreshing!)
Everything we ate was delicious! I must point out that the manager, Mitch is awesome! He grew up in Dunwoody and wants to make this a true Dunwoody hangout! My favorite thing he told me: THEY DELIVER!!!!!! My second favorite thing he told me: the regular wings are NOT BREADED and therefore practically Gluten FREE! We liked it so much that I’ve already eaten there again (takeout) since last Friday!
Wing Factory has four locations and have been in business for more than 20 years. Dunwoody, they are here to STAY.
