2018 Sandy Springs Festival to Feature Live Entertainment for All Ages

– Heritage Sandy Springs is gearing up to present the 33rd Annual Sandy Springs Festival, a two-day event in the heart of Sandy Springs on September 22 and 23. This year’s Festival has a brand new footprint anchored by Heritage Green and City Springs, providing an opportunity for several new and exciting features like a second entertainment stage.

“This year’s festival will be a great mix of tradition and originality, which is even reflected in the entertainment lineup,” said Sarah Poland, Director of Marketing and Community Events at Heritage Sandy Springs. “We have really expanded our live music offerings with a strong Southern rock feel, and our Cultural Corner stage will feature a variety of international performances. We’re very excited to present a free post-festival concert on Saturday evening that’s sure to get everyone singing and dancing along to their favorite throwback tunes, and we can’t wait to bring back the Battle of the Bands on Sunday. From live music and community groups to a nationally-recognized illusionist and cartoon character, there will be an abundance of live entertainment for festival guests of all ages!”

On Saturday, September 22, the Main Stage will feature a variety of local professional musicians, playing both original and cover tunes. The City Springs Stage will host performances from the Cultural Corner with international song, dance, and demonstrations. There will also be a free post-festival concert on the Main Stage from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm with “Saved by the Band” – a high-energy party band covering the best tunes from the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s.
