Paula Thornton has signed her Letter of Intent to fence for Brandeis University in the coming season.
Paula is captain of the Campbell High School fencing team and represents Dunwoody Fencing Club in USA Fencing competitions. She is coached by Kathy Vail and John Stephens.

Fencers representing the twenty member schools competing in the Georgia High School Fencing League showcased their sport in the Rotunda of the State Capitol on Georgia High School Fencing League Day at the Capitol.
Senators, Representatives and tour groups gathered to watch these young athletes demonstrate epee fencing
The girls track team got off to a great start at their first meet last Saturday. They finished 4th overall out of 18 schools. Janae Profit earned 1st in both the shot put and discus. Kameren Haliday also snagged 1st place in the 100 meter high hurdles. Dunwoody High School fencer Sara Gelber organized her fencing teammates in giving back to their community by spending two hours helping make 10,000 sandwiches as part of the Sandwich Project at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church. The sandwiches were distributed to four homeless shelters around Atlanta
