The Crier, in conjunction with the Dunwoody Preservation Trust and the city of Dunwoody, is planning a 20th-anniversary commemoration of the Dunwoody tornado and seek residents’ photos and stories to include in the plans.
The April event will begin with a community gathering on Sunday, April 8 at 2 p.m. at the Kingsley Swim and Tennis Clubhouse to include a graphics display and slideshow of photos and archives, as well as presentations from members of the community, city and county, and the opportunity to share stories among neighbors. All affected homeowners and interested residents are invited to attend.
