At least three parties came on the riverboat cruise last weekend thanks to your email. As a volunteer for Chattahoochee Outfitters who run that boat I’m so grateful to you for helping to get people out on that river to see and experience this important environmental and recreational resource that runs right through our town.
I love pointing out the bird and animal life on the river and Captain John gives the kids a great time when they get to “drive the boat”.
Chattahoochee Outfitters has extended the ‘special’ through all the weekends in August. Here is the information below if you can send it out again.
Bulletin: Chattahoochee Outfitters will continue their Spirit of Roswell sternwheeler riverboat special weekend prices through August: Adults $10, Children under 12, $5. The boat leaves the boat launch at the main parking lot at Azalea Park on the Chattahoochee River in Roswell. The trip down the river toward Morgan Falls Dam and back takes an 1 1/2 hours, more or less. The boat is there every Saturday and Sunday at 2, 4 and 6 p.m. Please call for information, reservations, and to check river conditions for the trip. #770-650-1008.
